"A painting means as much to you as a string of pearls to an ape." (Quote by - Paul Scofield)
It's been seven months since I posted something. Life is full of surprises. One of the many surprises that deterred me from blogging was moving back to Sta. Clarita last February.
Two years ago my husband & I moved to San Diego, California. It's a beautiful city and we were sad to leave . Moving was chaotic, messy and exhausting. Having a new place kept me extremely occupied as I decorated our home. It took me & my husband three months to organize our stuffs at home & garage. Last June I went back to oil painting although my art stuffs needs more organizing. My first oil painting done in my new art studio is the painting below.
Title: "Pearl Of The Orient"
Size: 12" x 14"
Medium: Oil On Canvas
My painting depicted the Philippines as a precious pearl of the orient. The Philippines is oftened compared to strings of pearls scattered in the orient. As many of us know, pearls are the rarest things in the world. Their value is high and quality genuine & true.
